Why can't I scan my book?
Most books have a barcode on the back cover. Make sure there's enough light and hold your phone steady. If your camera still can't read it, tap "Type ISBN" to enter the 10 or 13-digit number manually.
My book wasn't found — what now?
BookMood searches several book databases. If we still can't find your book, it's likely very new or very niche. It's not you — it's our miss!
We're a small dedicated team, and every ISBN you share helps us serve you and other readers better. If you can spare a moment, send it to support@bookmood.app — we'd really appreciate it.
I forgot my password.
On the sign-in screen, tap "Forgot password?" and enter your email. You'll get a reset link within a minute.
Did I hit a scan limit?
To keep the app sustainable and free, we limit each account to 3 book scans per day. The limit resets at midnight (your local time).
How do I delete my account?
Open the app, tap Settings on the home screen, then Delete Account. You'll see a confirmation with everything that will be removed: your profile, mood history, saved books, quote jar, and shelf decorations. Deletion is immediate — and your email becomes free to sign up again anytime if you change your mind.
